Full description

The star glass in this study is the beautiful iridescent black used for the body and head. In reflected light it shines a shimmering blue colour. In striking contrast are the bright, bright orange legs and feet. The strong beak is cut from 2 striped colours, one blue, one orange and I've used an iridescent white for the main body.

To place the puffin in his landscape he's sitting on a translucent brown/cream rocky outcrop with a lightly textured clear glass sky.

This puffin panel is made with cut glass, copperfoiled, soldered then given a lead edge to make it a substantial piece.

Hooks have been soldered on the top for ease of hanging in your window.

Size approx 21.5cm x 14.5cm
