This is one of a series of black and white art draings using black ink pen. I base my designs on abstract art but often with a bit of a theme. That could be sea life, trees, flowers, animals or just patterned, My black and white oictures come mounted in white and framed in black to enhance the impact of the drawings.

These are my armchair drawings. Most of my art is on larger canvasses which means standing or bending or stretching so I decided to do something where I could relax a bit more. These A4 size drawings don't require grappling with different colours, mixing paints, washing brushes and painting at odd angles. I love the attention to detail and patience in creating them. I love the drama and impact of the finished design. The only thing left is to add some imagination.
