WELCOME to Lillibets Millinery on Folksy. I'm delighted to be featured alongside the talented artisan makers of the UK and hope you enjoy browsing my designs.
Each of my creations has been designed and made by me, Isobel Robinson, at my home studio in Riddlesden in West Yorkshire. Overlooking the rolling hills and rugged moorland of Bronte Country, I continue to be inspired by the beautiful surroundings, dotted with the remnants of industrial heritage of bygone eras.
Lillibets Millinery combines my passion for two mediums - millinery and jewellery. I love to create wearable fashion accessories that enhance your self-confidence and define your individual style. I take great care to produce heirloom quality pieces that create a lasting memory of a special event. I do appreciate that it may be difficult to judge how styles will suit online, so I allow returns/exchanges within 7 days of receipt (overseas customers please contact within 7 days). This excludes any bespoke options beyond the style of fastening or side of head where offered. Returns must be unworn with tags intact and in the original hat box. Any damage, including to the hat box, will incur a charge to cover replacement costs. All return postage costs are covered by buyer unless faulty. Bespoke headpieces, or those made in different colours to the listed hats, are strictly non-returnable due to their personalised nature. Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. Large silk hair bow clip. Stunning as a bridal headpiece or the perfect hair accessory for weddings, parties and formal occasions. This beautifully styled bow is right on trend for 2024.
GISELLE is a luxurious pure silk hair bow hand-finished with sequins and swarovski crystal pearls. The silk is of handloom dupion quality, woven from pure silk with a distinctive irregular weave texture caused when two or more cocoon threads are woven together. The finished fabric has a beautiful lustrous finish, making it perfect for occasion wear.
GISELLE is adorned with hand-stitched pearl beads and gold-toned sequins for a uniquely elegant look that befits couture fashion. Styled on loose hair or over a low chignon bun, it looks stunning paired with classic or contemporary styles.
The bow measures approximately 18cm wide and 32cm overall length, or 26cm from clip to the tips of the bow tails. It fastens with a barette clip, though can be made with a hair comb if preferred. GISELLE is fully lined in silk so you can "puff" out the top or lay it flat as desired and it will hold its shape.
Each bow is handmade to order within 5 working days. They come beautifully presented in a gift box to ensure safe storage away from sunlight for lasting wear.
