I really wanted a simple but interesting 3D necklace to wear everyday, so after designing this necklace, I created two more pieces of a similar style.

Are you looking for an exquisite piece of jewellery? This interesting necklace would be great for someone who loves contemporary jewellery.
I have created this necklace by making a barrel shape with recycled sterling silver wire and filled gold wire. Inside the barrel is a textured sterling silver tube and it is held in place with filled gold wire. After finishing, the barrel has been attached to sterling silver chain. (The gold filled wire has been created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal). It has been designed by myself and is part of a small collection of similar necklaces.
I really wanted a simple but interesting 3D necklace to wear everyday; after designing a simple barrel necklace wrapped in filled gold wire, I created two more pieces of a similar style.
The necklace will arrive in a black jewellery box, complete with simple care instructions and a small square of silver polish.
