A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(4) I wanted to capture the rugged beauty and a sense of wild open spaces in this original piece. Sometimes the thought of living in the middle of nowhere or going trekking seems wonderful...however, only if you have the right people with you. I've called this original work, 'I'd Go There For You'.

Full description
In this original painting there are dark, brooding mountains in the far distance evoking a feeling of mystery and the great unknown. A line of tall trees lie at the foot of these mountains creating a sense of shelter and mystery. The foreground is a colourful mix of yellows, golds, greens and purples which hold on to the daylight.
This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on paper, varnished and presented on high quality mountboard. It is unframed.
The size of the art work, including the mount is approx. 23 x 23 cms, (9 x 9 inches). The work is signed and dated at the back. It comes in a cello sleeve for additional protection.
Orders will be shipped by 1st class Royal Mail in a reinforced, hard-backed envelope.
