Having made our ever expanding range of steam engine nameplates we needed to make a display system. We decided that clear acrylic was the best option as it allows the nameplate to be the star. The next objective was to display either a one off nameplate or an ever growing collection of nameplates. So the single shelf stand was born followed by a hanging stand handle which can accept a number of spacer hanger plates, each one displays a single nameplate. The brass screws and bolts connect each spacer plate to the one before hence a growing collection can be expanded as time goes by.
We can easily imagine the wall-mounted hanging display alongside a model railway set-up or on a man-cave wall, bringing joy to everybody.
