I live in a grade 2 listed country cottage in Lincolnshire. I have only been sewing Teddy Bears for a year. I love the way that each bear has his own character which starts to develop when his eyes nose and mouth are created. I have used lots of different types of fabrics but Mohair is by far the best. this year I hope to create bears in costume starting with Arthur the Golfer then Bert the Fisherman and Charlie the Chimney Sweep is in the making.

Arthur the Golfer He stands 31cm tall (12").
His body is hand sewn with Dense Antique Gold Mohair His outfit consists of a waistcoat, trousers, the fabric for his shirt may vary and is finished off with a cap. He has a hand embroidered nose and is 5 way jointed..
He has a golf bag made from distressed faux leather.. He is presented in a cotton dust bag.
He is made with love.
