All along the East coast, the pebble beaches are peppered with brightly painted beach huts. Our windy walks along the 'prom' at Felixstowe has inspired me to make several beach hut quilts.

Full description
A day at the English seaside, with its rows of brightly painted beach huts, was my inspiration for this cheerful, summery quilt. The perfect size for a cot quilt or playmat, it would suit a little girl or a boy, but it's also grown up enough to work as a wall hanging in a garden room, summer house... or even a beach hut!
The front has been carefully machine pieced from good quality cottons. On the back, I've used two complementary prints with an inset section to match the front of the quilt. It's machine quilted in a simple, contemporary design.
This little quilt will get softer and softer with use. There will be some shrinkage after washing, giving the quilt that characteristic 'wrinkle'.

- Measures 34" x 44.5" (86 x 113 cm) but please use a tape measure to visualize the actual size
- Patchwork top - 100% designer quilting cottons
- Wadding - eco-friendly cotton/bamboo blend
- Backing and hand finished double-fold binding - 100% designer cotton
- Wash by hand or on the cool cycle
- Line dry or very gentle tumble
