A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(025) This original artwork is called, "The Summer Sky is Swollen". I love to see the sun setting and the sky seems saturated with colour. It gives us hope and a sense of wellbeing. This would make an ideal gift for any art lover.

Full description
This is a framed acrylic painting. Being at the coast and seeing a red sky, can give us a sense of joy and wellbeing. The sky is reflected in the sea which intensifies that joy. I have used the smallest paintbrush I own to flick thick layers of paint over the canvas to depict the movement of the water and the heat radiating from the land.
