Full description
As with a lot of my makes I started making feathers when a customer asked if I could make her one.
This feather has been made from 7 different types of colourful stained glass to represent a mallard duck. It will look beautiful in any window and doesn’t have to be in direct sunlight to look lovely.
Each piece of glass will been cut by hand, ground, foiled, washed and soldered together before being washed again and then polished.
The quill has been made from tinned twisted wire.
The feather measures 20cms x 6.5cms excluding the wire quill.

I will supply one window hook so you can hang it up as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window.
