I wanted to create a beautiful weathered metal effect in this collection. I added the alcohol inks to give the impression of patina or rusts under peeling paintwork. I love the results. Some look like weathered and rusty metal and some of the more brightly coloured ones look like the inside of a tin of quality street (from the 1990s - yes, I'm that old)

Full description
This collection features ten pairs of brightly coloured statement earrings. The earrings are made with lightweight, polymer clay and metallic leaf. The colour comes from alcohol ink which has been allowed to blend and mix on the surface of the clay giving a wide array of colours.
The earrings are covered with a layer of resin to protect the foil from rubs and scratches, meaning the beautiful weathered metal effect should last forever. The resin also helps bring out the shine from the foil.
Some earrings have additional charms and/or connectors. Please use the "choose options" button to select the pair of earrings you would like.
Pair 4 - Tulip stud with long dangle, stainless steel posts. Approx 5.5cm
Pair 7 - Circle stud, arch shaped dangle, stainless steel posts. Approx 4cm
Pair 8 - Circle stud, mandala connector, flower dangle, stainless steel posts. Approx 5cm
