A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(037) I’ve called this small canvas ‘Every Colour Is A Blessing’…..because it is. This a based on trips to Rannoch Moor and being amazed my the array of different colours and tones. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This framed, acrylic landscape painting is packed full of texture and colour. I have chosen a range of earthy tones to give a sense of a fine, sunny day in a Scottish Glen. I adopted a spontaneous, intuitive approach to this work, almost going with the flow as I applied the paint. I used various mark making tools such as a needle and scissors to dig into the wet paint to create a sense of shape and form of the hills. Key features include:
