I was inspired by the beautiful autumn colours of the fabrics. I had just finished some hexie tote bags and was in the mood to continue making more hexies and the design just developed from there.

Full description
I started this project by hand stitching the hexagons in a random meandering pattern onto a pale cream background. It is backed by a buttermilk cotton and has a layer of fleece in the middle.
The table runner is 36" (92cms) long x 11.5" (29.5cms) wide. This fits my gateleg dining table perfectly.
