I totally fell in love with a piece of leaves fabric I had but it was only a small piece, about the size of a fat quarter, so I had to get creative to find a design that would incorporate all of the leaves fabric. I loved the colour combination of this quilt as it just reminded me of cosy autumn days snuggled on the sofa.

Snuggle up with a hot chocolate under this autumn leaves square-within-a-square patchwork lap quilt or sofa throw.
I loved the leaves fabric which was the inspiration for this design as I only had a small piece of this fabric to work with. I used a snazzy diamonds fabric in a co-ordinating orange colour for the backing. I didn't have enough for the whole backing so I added strips of solid orange.
It's a good sofa throw size at 45" x 54". It has polyester wadding and will be nice 'n' cosy to snuggle under.
