A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork. I just love creating pieces that captures the rugged beauty of the landscape in a moment in time.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap and send it on to the U.K. based recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed pieces will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse wrapping materials I have collected. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed pieces, they will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(9) I wanted to set a scene where the old cottages in the distance, could reveal tales of history. The wildflowers take centre stage and are resilient against the elements. This artwork is a celebration of life, love, and the enduring spirit of nature. I've called it, 'Some Of Us Are Naturally Wild'. It would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
In this impasto painting you can see the roof tops of old cottages in the far distance. They are surrounded by strong, vibrant wildflowers enjoying the sun and the breezes. I’ve applied the acrylic paint using a range of palette knives, brushes and twigs to add texture and depth to the painting. I’ve then scratched into the surface of the paint in the foreground to indicate the roughness of the terrain. I’ve deliberately made the daisies big and bold, casting shadows on the wild poppies and foxgloves.
This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on sealed paper. It is varnished and presented on high quality mountboard. It is unframed.
The size of the art work is approx. 25.4 x 20.3 cms (10 x 8 inches), including the mount. My initials are on the front and the work is signed and dated at the back. It comes in a cello sleeve for additional protection.
Orders will be shipped by 1st class Royal Mail in a reinforced, hard-backed envelope.
