Full description
These beautiful handmade stained glass roses have been made using streaky red glass. They would make a great present for anyone special, ideal for a Ruby Wedding anniversary, a Mother’s Day Gift, a Valentines present, even a wedding or engagement present. In fact they would be suitable for anyone special.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed, copper foiled and then solder together before being washed again. The rose and leaves are wired together giving added detail on the leaves which will be seen when hung with the light behind. A ring has been attached for hanging purposes.
The measurements of the flower are as follows: Rose Bud for each is 4.5 cms wide by 6 cms high, the overall size is approx 17.5cms wide x 23cms high. I have said approximately as I have 2 available and they are both slightly different. If you have a preference over which rose you would like please let me know when purchasing otherwise I will send one of the two.
The glass used for these roses is a red streaky sea glass which has streaks or orange for the flower but and either dark green wissmach glass or bright green corella glass for the leaves.
This suncatcher will look beautiful hung in any window or even on a mirror. You do not need to hang in a window in direct sunlight, it will look wonderful in any window.
I will supply a good quality window hook for hanging your suncatcher in the window. Please wet before pushing firmly onto the window.
