Full description
One of my favourite flowers is the pansy. The character of this flower is now captured for life in stained glass. This stained glass flower would look great in a pot by itself or can brighten up an indoor plant. Ideal for a gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother's Day, house warming or a birthday.
Each piece of glass is handcut and grinded to shape. Ceramic paint has been baked onto some of the petals and then each piece is wrapped in copper foil. Then each piece is soldered to create a nice smooth bead around the edges. Now the wirework is created and soldered onto some petals and the leaves. The flower is assembled in layers to create a 3D effect and soldered together. Finally, a double pronged plant stake is soldered on the back.
