'Sow I am' is the second in a series of our nature inspired linocut art prints. We have hand-carved a beautiful scene featuring a woman, close to the earth, barefoot and steadfast. She is immersed in nature and sowing seeds. For she knows the secrets of an earth-keeper. If I keep the earth, the earth will keep me. I am a part of the land and the land is a part of me. I am connected by my body and soul, from here I will grow.

Full description
A handprinted nature inspired linocut art print, of a lady crouching down, barefoot and sowing. A wisp of her hair connects subtly with the sun and the trees that are a pattern on her dress grow outwards from her back. Nature is all around and everything is connected. One colour print in a Purple-black Relief Ink on archival fine art paper in White.
The art you see is a linocut art print and has been hand-craved and handprinted by me using Japanese Vinyl and hand carving tools.
High quality Relief Ink in Carbazole Violet (a very dark purple that looks almost black), and handprinted on 250gsm smooth fine art archival paper in White.
Each print is endorced on the back with our stamp, we handwrite the year it was printed followed by the title of the artwork in pencil. And on the front bottom right hand side - the signature of the creative in pencil.

Colours may vary due to monitor settings. Colour and appearance may vary due to it being a handprinted piece of art. Tiny imperfections can sometimes occur, which we believe adds to its character. No two prints will ever look exactly the same - making each one truly unique. Paper can have one deckled edge or none.
