Full description
A set of three handmade glass daffodil made with effetre Italian glass , worked in the flame to form delicate glass daffodils gently leaning over. The vase is made from crystal clear profile tubing which has ridges swirled inside to give a unique pattern on the inside of the vase.The set includes three green glass leaves .
The set is 150mm (6") high x 175mm (7") wide and all the pieces are annealed.
All of these products are hand crafted in Yorkshire using Effetre soft glass (coe104), they are made from an array of colours supplied by Effetre Glass in Murano , Italy. A variety of techniques are used to create the flowers including heating , manipulation , mashing , using gravity to achieve the flowing lines and years and years of practice.
The finished flowers and vase are annealed to reduce stress.
