I think spring is my favourite season and just love it when the daffodils are out, it won’t be too long to wait now and who can resist a daffodil?
In this listing you will find a beautifully handmade stained glass daffodil which will last much longer than real daffodils outside.
These have been made from Yellow Sea glass for the petals, streaky orange textured orange glass for the trumpet and green corella glass for the leaves. The stem and stamens made from tinned wire have been added giving extra interest.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground and washed, copper foiled and soldered together, washed again and polished. A ring has been attached for hanging purposes.
The measurement of this suncatcher is 22 cms high by 8 cms wide.
This would make a great present to someone special and is everlasting.
Please note that you do not need to hang in a window in direct sunlight, it will look wonderful in any window.
I will supply a good quality window hook for hanging your suncatcher in the window, please avoid using the small or cheaper variety as these will fall and your daffodil may break. Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
