I have have always loved the sea and sea life and during the months, of opening up, from Covid, we spent countless days in north Norfolk.
Here, in Wells next the sea, I fell in love with seals, such beautiful animals. Seals were my first choice for sculpting, with those big sad eyes. I always love to make seals and they have become extremely popular and a must have after seals trips, near Blakeney. I sell my seals in quay art gallery, Wells and the handcrafted company, in Blakeney.

Full description
This is a hand sculpted seal , made from earthenware clay. After it’s bisque firing it was hand painted in matte glazes, for the body and glossy glazes eyes, to bring him to life.
