I love beachcombing for sea glass and sea pottery. Each piece tells its own story. My pieces are found mainly on the East Coast of Scotland and North East England where glass remnants or misfired pottery pieces ended up on the beach either because they were discarded by the potteries and factories or because historical dumps have eroded leading to pieces finding their way into the waterways and oceans where they are beautifully tumbled by the water. Seaglass will have some imperfections on the surface (known as C marks) from bumping into rocks and pebbles on the shore. I’m happy to share some of my finds in this way.
