In September I was working with my Creative Industries pupils on a ceramic coaster project. With their inspiration I decided to give it a go and have started my own range. The pupils enjoyed the project and I am thoroughly enjoying 'doing my own thing'.
Great fun thinking of new ideas and suits my meticulous way of working.

This set of coasters has been completely hand painted by myself. Each coaster took approximately an hour and a half, making the set 6 hours.
I am a bit of a perfectionist so put in a lot of effort to make the 'Cats' just right.
Each coaster was sanded and varnished 3 times. The final coat of varnish is Polyvine Lacquer which is heat resistant.
Each coaster measures: 10cm x 10cm x 8mm (depth).
The coasters come wrapped in ribbon and have a wee makers label.
Each coaster is signed on the back with Makers initials.
THEY ARE VERY CUTE!
