RAINBOW MOSAIC CRAFT KIT

Mosaic is an ancient art form which was originally developed by the Greeks and the Romans. Generally, mosaics are made from Ceramic or glass tiles. We call the tiles Tesserae which is the Latin word used to describe mosaic pieces and the word most people associate with mosaics. There are all sorts of other media you can use to create your unique piece of art, such as buttons, beads, mirror, shells, sea glass, jewellery findings and broken china.

LEARN TO MOSAIC - Creating a mosaic is a hugely exciting process and therapeutic as you develop the design and experiment with the possibilities of shape and colour. Learning to cut glass and ceramic is a skill which takes time and patience to develop so this Box Clever project is designed with the beginner in mind and all the tiles are all 10mm ceramic with no cutting required. The wooden base has been scored with guidelines to help you in laying your tiles.

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS - This craft kit is designed for beginners and contains comprehensive step by step instructions.

PERFECT FOR GIFTING - The kits come in a sturdy labelled brown box with outer wrapping making them perfect gifts.

Each Box contains:

- Wooden Rainbow base 29cm wide x 15cm height - made from 6mm Birch Ply
- 10mm ceramic tiles specifically for this design
- Protective gloves and grout
- PVA Glue and brush
- Acrylic Paint for Reverse
