Full description
Stunning Luxury Peacock Themed Christmas Wreath, handmade by me.
Created on a wire framed base covered with fresh moss, this wreath is brimming with blue spruce, seasonal foliage and berries, and the stars of the show - peacock feathers, all finished with a peacock print wired ribbon bow.
The feathers come from a local friend who owns a peacock and are collected at the end of the year when the feathers are naturally shed. They are washed and dried to ensure any bacteria is removed before use. Any spruces and conifers are sourced from our local Christmas tree farm which is 10miles away and other foliage is cut from our own plants as much as possible. The moss used is gathered from Thetford forest in Norfolk under licence.
As a shop, our ethos is to be as sustainable as possible so everything we do and use is as environmental sound as is viable. Our wreaths can be 99% composted, from the moss to the foliage and the twine used to secure everything to the frame, and the feathers can be pulled out and displayed in a vase if you like! The wire frame can usually be recycled at your local recycling centre or kept for next year.
Our fresh wreaths are made using wet moss and should last a 4-6weeks as long as the foliage and moss are kept moist. This wreath would be best on a door that's sheltered to keep the feathers dry and looking beautiful. Delivered in a wreath box.
