John has always been inspired by the natural beauty of wood, as a young boy he would carve characters out of firewood! After 30 years of being in the engineering industry, he now combines his welding skills with his love of wood to create sustainable pieces.

This picture frame can be used as a photo frame too. The reclaimed wood has been crafted with an inset of solid steel. This frame is made-to-order by John, the steel specialist as seen on TV in The Saved and Remade Workshop. This frame is suitable for an A4 photo or print of your choice.
It is not only good for the environment to use reclaimed wood and re-purpose, it makes a stunning addition to your home. If you are celebrating your 5th wedding anniversary, wood is the symbol of stability and true love!
This particular wood has beautiful markings that have been brought to the fore using a wood burning technique, it has been built around a black steel frame and the finishing touch of steel rivets gives it a truly rustic and industrial modern feel. It is a strong, sturdy well made picture frame that will transform an empty wall into a visually pleasing space.
It can be used to frame a photo or piece of art of your choosing and is displayed here to include a black and white photo from the 1960's of Nailsea Town.
