Full description
This black and gold necklace has been created using the keum boo technique. I use sterling silver which is heated until the surface begins to melt creating an uneven surface. The silver is then heated again and very thin gold foil is applied with force to the surface, I have shaped the pendant so that it gently undulates.
Applying a patina to the pendant creates the black finish which looks beautiful against the gold. The pendant then hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain. Please contact me if you would prefer a different length.
This unique necklace will make a thoughtful gift for a friend's birthday or as a treat for yoursefl.
The height of the pendant is 34 mm and the width is 8 mm.
