Full description
A unique tea spoon featuring a handmade lampwork glass Christmas pudding bead.
The Christmas pudding bead has been created by melting layers of glass onto a mandrel and then pressing into shape. I have then added little black dots of glass (for currants) and white glass for the icing, ensuring the white glass 'icing' has a dripping effect. To finish the Christmas pudding I have added red and green glass for the holly. The bead has been attached to the spoon using a stainless steel headpin.
COE 104 glass has been used to create the glass bead and the tea spoon is stainless steel.
The lampwork bead has been annealed in the kiln to relieve any internal stress that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the bead has been kiln annealed it is still delicate due to the nature of glass so please wash by hand instead of using a dishwasher.
Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.
