This is one of three Hydrangea scarves have made. I love hydrangeas and I made my mum a cushion cover a few years ago similar to this design - she always told me that I should make it into a scarf!

Full description

100% Silk scarf, is it approximately 55cm x 55cm, hand painted with hand rolled edges.

Unique square silk scarf, fine and delicate with blue and green hues. Beautiful hydrangeas and a blue boarder all hand drawn and hand painted.

This smaller square scarf is painted using steam fixed dyes and has a hand rolled hem. This beautiful light fabric falls beautifully and the light blues and greens shimmers in the light. Each handmade scarf is one of a kind and is a piece of art in itself. This scarf would be beautiful in hair, as a neckerchief, or adorning your favourite bag.

Each scarf is handmade and, due to the dying and painting process (although much effort is made to remove all dye post steaming), darker colours may still transfer onto lighter colours.

Care instructions

Hand washable in luke warm water, iron on low heat while still wet to preserve the silk. I recommend washing it by hand with mild soap or children’s shampoo. Do not twist. Do not soak. Remove excess water by rolling up in a towel. Iron while still damp
