Sometimes you just need a simple, stylish bag! I’ve had this pattern cut out, ready to sew for absolutely ages, but hadn’t got round to sewing it up. In a fit of laziness, rather than cut and prepare another pattern, I finally picked it up and ran that bad girl under my needle - and WHAM! this absolute beauty was born and I was left wondering why I waited so long. Although the bag in this listing is a one-of-a-kind, I’ll be making more of these, from the range of beautiful, colourful leathers in my stash - so watch this space!

The leather used in the making of this bag is sourced from a factory that uses leather in its manufacturing process. The pieces I use are offcuts that were headed to landfill. As leather is an organic material and has natural creases, Please note that the leather that is used to make this bag is upcycled and as an organic material may have creases, variations in colour, flaws, blemishes and variations in the thickness and texture. These are not considered ‘faults’ in the product and, as such, returns and refunds will not be accepted on this basis.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

This beautiful brick red leather bag is a stunningly simple, slouch bag. She has a secure zipper opening and opens fully to reveal a leather trimmed slip pocket on one side and a leather trimmed zipper pocket on the other. She has a removable shoulder strap that makes for a lovely, comfortable carry.
This ‘Birdy’ bag is hand made (by me!) from gorgeous soft, brick red leather that has been saved from heading the landfill, has a pink daisy patterned cotton lining and gorgeous gold hardware.
She’s a great size for every day use, with plenty of space to carry your essentials and is the perfect ‘grab n go’ bag that you can sling your stuff into as you head out the door. The simplicity of this bag makes it suitable to be worn with both casual and smart outfits. This is a one-of-a-kind, one-off bag that makes the perfect christmas gift for a friend, sister, cousin, mum, hairdresser, local lollipop lady - or even better, treat yourself!
