This is becoming a rare item and i wanted to show that old mechanical items have outstanding design that deserve to be admired.

Full description
This lamp is made from a vintage stuart turner P5M marine engine carburettor.
This has been cleaned down and re-painted in a near as original colour and also polished to restore and enhance the brass and copper components.
Due to the many features of this lamp it can be viewed from either side giving an equal appreciation of the workmanship gone into the design of this vintage carburettor.
The lamp is mounted on a block of recycled timber which has been sanded and waxed giving an antique look.
It is also shaped to resemble a boat as to continue with the nautical theme.
The lamp is fitted with a new filament style bayonet bulb.
The lamp has been fully tested.

Naturally due to the age of this item there are signs of wear and age related marks.
