I love patchwork. I mostly love how you can make actual usable cloth from small scraps of fabric that so often get thrown away. I love finding bits of fabric that "go" together, so their stories and colours connect. I started making patchwork stockings as another way to give purpose to waste and unwanted fabric, and to create heirloom pieces that can be treasured for years to come, and handed down through generations. I hope you like them!!!

Christmas or Solstice Stocking
Handmade from recycled cotton scraps in a crazy patchwork style to the front, with a solid plain/print fabric on the back. Each one is lined, and has a tab/hanger.
Every stocking made is entirely unique - pictures shown give an idea of size and shape, but material designs will differ.
All materials used are recycled.
These stockings are big enough to fit an apple, an orange and a good amount of small stocking fillers.
Approximate measurements: 35cm from tab to heel, 45cm from tab to toe, and 38cm circumference to top.
