HISTORY - The MGB GT V8 (1973-1976) replaced the MGC GT being lighter and was able to use the current MGB GT body without major alterations unlike the MGC. It was powered by the reliable 3.5litre 8 cylinder engine that was originally from Buick but used successfully in the UK in the Rover 3500. it had a top speed of 125mph and a 0-60mph of 7.7 seconds.

I photographed this car in November 2023 at a show near Portsmouth.
