Handmade Sparkly Dichroic Glass and Copper Starburst Necklace on pure Copper Chain.
I began by making the dichroic glass cabachon first by layering different glass together with copper and then kiln firing where the glass reaches melting point and forms an organic domed shape. This process takes around 7 hours. Once the glass was ready I designed the copper bezel fitting and made it to fit the cabachon perfectly using copper sheet, wire and texturing the surrounding edges with a hand tool to create the starburst effect.
Fitted to an 18 inch pure copper chain with antiqued finish.Pendant measures approx 1.25 inches.
Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted by me to my own designs using quality materials purchased in the UK.
Your jewellery will be sent wrapped in layers of tissue inside an organza gift bag and presented in my own design handmade giftbox. Posted Royal Mail 1st Class Post, please allow up to 3 days for delivery UK.
