I have recently started diversifying and adding more crafts to my repertoire and I am thoroughly enjoying using mixed media to create lots of new pieces including this pretty blue tits box.

Full description
This gorgeous large square mixed media box has been created using decoupage, stencilling, airdry clay and different paint techniques.
The box measures 24cm x 24cm square and is 10cm deep.
The lid has been decorated with pretty air dry clay poppy flowers, buds, leaves and seed pods.
I have also added a stencilled script scrolled paper effect.
The whole box has been painted using a shabby distressed look.
On the interior of the box, I have used a pretty poppy napkin to decoupage inside the lid and I have also stencilled more of the script lettering on the inside of the box.
The whole piece has been sealed with several coats of non-yellowing matt varnish to protect it.
I would recommend gently cleaning/dusting the box with a soft paintbrush.
