Had the idea of using matte glazes and copper together so trialled this design which I love but takes a lot of time to glaze as paint the black on first, then carefully add the copper with a finer brush! I like the result but it's too time-consuming to do many of these so consider this as a limited edition!!

I've used a textured clay for these which you can see some speckles poking through. A little bigger than espresso size, these tumblers with carved sides in a matte black glaze & a copper strip...this takes quite a bit of time to glaze so there won't be many of them!! There are two of these which makes a great set but you do need to put 2 in your basket if you'd like to purchase both. Price is per midi tumbler. The matte cream one has now sold. Fired to c1200 degrees (stoneware temperature) and this makes the tumbler more durable.

Height - both are 7.3cm
The glaze is lead free and food safe. Can be placed in the microwave and the dishwasher but some prefer to hand wash!
