I am inspired to make pots like this by the varoius English craft potters including the Leach family and have recently visited Bernard Leach and John Leach studios while on holidays. I like to make practical, elegant shaped vessels.

Full description

Here is a shapely tall blue Jug, suitable for both pouring liquids such as gravy or cream or fruit juice, but also good for a vase. Its decorated with a blue glaze with bare white stoneware stripes. The glaze is blue and breaks to a lovely sea green.

It is hand made, thrown on a wheel, in white textured stoneware clay.

It is fired to 1250oC and will hold food and is heat resistant and food safe. It can be used in a microwave and dishwasher.

It is about 17cm tall and about 8.5cm diameter at the top and holds about 900mls of liquid..

I take time with careful packing using recyclable materials, so don't be surprised if this item doesn't arrive for about a week.
