Full description
Here we have an industrial style dining table with box steel legs. This eye catching piece is constructed from premium grade 40mm thick redwood. Three oak cleats are fixed to the under side to help keep the top perfectly flat. So all in all, this is a strong, sturdy table that will have pride of place in your home for years to come!
It is finished with 5 coats of a tinted hard wax oil (English tint pictured, see gallery for available options) followed by two clear coats to produce the deep lustre you see here. This particular piece was scorched prior to finishing, in order to accentuate the beautiful grain patterns inherent in the wood. It was also made to look ‘subtly aged’ after construction. These features are down to personal choice so if you’d prefer not to have them and would rather go for a smoother, newer look, no problem!
