Full description
This multicoloured Star Garland has 5 folded origami stars and is made by hand from one sheet of my unique marbled papers. Each individual star has been carefully folded from a pentagon and measures about 6.5cm. I have strung them onto a length of invisible thread so that each one can be gently moved along, allowing you to space them as you wish. The length of this garland is approximately 120cm.
I hand marble each sheet of paper one at a time in my Angus studio using either gouache or acrylic paints on a bath of carrageenan seaweed solution. The process of marbling requires skill and time and the finished papers are used for many different purposes.

Each star garland is carefully packaged in a cardboard book box for protection and posted 2nd Class Royal Mail (UK ONLY)
Please note that my folded stars cannot be resold or used for any marketing purposes. This listing does not include any of the accessories in the photos.
Each piece is completely unique and due to its handmade / hand marbled nature there may be tiny variations or imperfections; this adds charm and character to every piece that I create.
