I have always been fascinated by the Victorian way of life. The Victorians " invented " Christmas as we know it. They were aiming for coziness and brightness at home during the bleak winter months. As buying new items and/or crafting supplies were out of reach for most people, any discarded materials, such as fabric scraps, tinsel, paper ect. would be utilized. All the family would gather to craft ornaments and Christmas cones, which then could be filled with sweets and goodies. I aim to bring some of this coziness into the modern home at Christmas.
