When we started making jewellery, years ago, we would have frequent BBQ's in the back of the garden where we lived and worked. Our studio was overlooking this garden, a big shared garden with 8 flats in Brockley, London, in an old Victorian conversion. We had a great time with all the neighbours there and frequently played guitar and sang into the night :))

Full description
This is a solid sterling silver ring weighing approximately 8 to 12g depending on the size. It's about 9mm wide and 1.5mm thick. A really nice piece with a lot of character.
We make the ring to order in your size. Please provide us with your size when ordering. We use the UK sizing chart, but we can work with any size.
The Heatwave is made using the reticulation technique. During the firing process our Sterling Silver filings are added and this creates all the unusual characteristics. We make sure that we are recycling all our silver in this way. Nothing is wasted in our studio :)
It's a fun ring to make we never know what the finished product will be until it's done. The oxidisation makes it look like cooled lava hence the name heatwave. We polish it lightly to create a lovely contrast and a rustic feature.
Oxidization is not permanent and you will have more of the silver showing through as you polish your ring over a period of time. This means that your ring changes character too. So you cant get bored ;) We are happy to re-oxidize if you can part with your ring lol. Just message us and we will set the ball rolling.
We usually keep these in stock as it's one of our most popular rings and our sizes start from UK L to Z6.
Your ring will be slightly different but in keeping with the style. Sorry we do not replicate any of these rings they are one offs :)
