Welcome to my shop. I hope you enjoy having a browse. I love working with textiles, making small and large items.
I am always happy to consider commissions and can personalise items. Just drop me an email pamccrafts@gmail.com.
You can follow me on FB and Instagram as well @pamccrafts.
All the items are hand sewn by me. I am increasingly thinking about sustainability with my work and am including more repurposed projects, and trying to use organic and natural fibres and fabrics.
I donate 10% of my sales to Launchpad, a charity working to prevent homelessness in Reading
If you are in the Reading area and would like to collect from me it would be lovely to meet you and chat about my work. I have a stall at most of the Artists and Makers Fairs in Caversham
https://www.artistsandmakersfairs.co.uk.
I just love working with a pike of sari ribbons to create these.

These little hearts are made using jute, sari fabrics and machine stitching. The resulting item has a rich textured appearance so will look lovely on your Christmas tree, or any time of year.
Small pieces of sari silk have been fused onto hessian. I have then hand stitched and machine stitched on top, incorporating other fibres as well. Shades of red, green, teal, yellow and gold. Colours vary as each is unique.
They are backed with Indian block print or batik cotton and have a fleece layer in between and a ribbon in a coordinating colour. They have either a gold coloured bell decoration of vintage button at the top.
They are mounted on card, wrapped in cellophane and have information about how they are made.
Measurements approx 4" wide and 3" long.
10% of the sale will go to Launchpad, a charity preventing homelessness in Reading.
