I keep all the little ends of sock or 4ply wool at the end of larger projects and then once I have enough I make a pair of gloves or some socks. This means there's no waste and I can put the colours together in ways that you can't find with commecially dyed wool.
The process is the same and the quality as good as a pair of gloves from one single ball of yarn so these are a great way to buy gloves as indiviual as you are and do a little to help the planet at the same time, win/win!

These fingerless gloves are sure to add some colour to dreary days and keep your hands toasty warm at the same time!
I have crocheted these gloves in lots of different wool rich, sock weight, yarns in a stripey design. The wool is all leftover from larger projects but as I like to throw away as little as possible every now and then I delve through my tiny leftover balls of wool and make a pair of these!
They will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist and from top to bottom are approx 7 inches. There is a half thumb so your hands are free to hold your phone, coffee, do up coats or get to your travel pass but still stay warm at the same time.
The wool used is all 75% wool, 25% nylon and as some of the wool is not superwash wool they would be best hand washed and laid flat to dry after gently reshaping.
Pop a pair in your pocket and never get caught out with cold sore hands again!
