Full description
The autumn season is one of the best when all the trees are changing colour. What is better than to have your own autumnal coloured maple leaf that won’t blow away in the wind?
This leaf has been made using a selection of different types of red stained glass.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again. I have applied a patina to blacken the solder and then a car wax and polished.
Twisted tinned wire has been used for the stalks with a ring at the end for hanging purposes.
This suncatcher measures 18cms wide x 16.5cms high, excluding the wire stalk.
Both leaves have been made using a lovely selection of glass.

I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly on the window.
