Welcome to my shop. I hope you enjoy having a browse. I love working with textiles, making small and large items.

I am always happy to consider commissions and can personalise items. Just drop me an email pamccrafts@gmail.com.

You can follow me on FB and Instagram as well @pamccrafts.

All the items are hand sewn by me. I am increasingly thinking about sustainability with my work and am including more repurposed projects, and trying to use organic and natural fibres and fabrics.

I donate 10% of my sales to Launchpad, a charity working to prevent homelessness in Reading

If you are in the Reading area and would like to collect from me it would be lovely to meet you and chat about my work. I have a stall at most of the Artists and Makers Fairs in Caversham
https://www.artistsandmakersfairs.co.uk.

I particularly like making these. The natural fabrics are lovely to work with and create a lovely finish

Full description

These little trees are made using jute, sari fabrics and machine stitching. Sari silk remnants are machine stitched onto hessian and backed with a hand block printed cotton fabric. A layer of recycled polyester wadding gives a little body to each. I have attached a colourful banana leaf yarn to hang them and used the same yarn to add texture, stitched over with a contrasting thread to each little tree. After making them I decided to add a gold coloured bell to each. (Not shown in every photo).

The resulting item has a rich textured appearance.

They are mounted on card, wrapped in cellophane and have information about how they are made.

Measurements approx 2.5" wide and 5" long.

10% of the sale will go to Launchpad, a charity preventing homelessness in Reading.
