Wood Anemone, I love spotting these in amongst the trees in our local woods and my garden, it reminds me that Spring is coming, and makes me smile.

Original Art -Whether nestled in Ancient woods or posing in this photogram, she holds her own as a sweet delicate little plant, full of mystery and history. The word Anemone comes from Greek and literally means 'daughter of the wind', and one of the old names for Wood Anemone is Windflower. They are slow-growing and can turn their faces to the sun and follow it as it moves across the sky.
Made using the traditional Cyanotype technique this pretty photogram shows off her petals and multi-lobed leaves perfectly.
She would look lovely on a shelf, dresser or bedside cabinet.

Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper.
Named ‘Una’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The double-mounted, Grey coloured frame is approximately ”6.5" x 8.5" (16.5 x 21.5 cm) with a GLASS front, the mount is ivory in colour with a white acid-free backboard. It has a back stand and can be wall-mounted.
The Aperture size is approximately 4” x 6” (10cm x 15cm)
The framed photogram will be posted out in a lined postal box, that is reusable.
