In my family, stockings have always been an important part of our Christmas tradition. I love the story behind them! Apparently, Saint Nicholas threw 3 bags of gold into stockings hung to dry by the fireplace. This led to the custom of hanging stockings to await presents from Santa. The shape is important too and symbolises staying grounded and appreciative.

Size: 45 cm long, 18 cm across top & 24 cm across foot and are ready to fill with age and gender appropriate gifts.

Name or Initial embroidered on cotton oval shape with scallop edge using a colour to match your stocking. It will come fused to your stocking. The bond is strong enough to allow for washing.
Construction
100% printed cotton fabric outer with an ivory cotton lining to give structure and strength. Seams are fully enclosed & overlocked with a durable grosgrain ribbon loop for hanging. Finished with quality bauble trim sewn around the cuff, making these hand crafted stockings more unique and fun. Care: Cold hand wash, air dry.
