I loved the owl design mitts which I saw online and decided to make a set which included a hat.

Full description
This is a quirky set which I have knit following a wrist warmer pattern I saw online (not my design). I have adapted the pattern to give the thumb holes in the wrist warmers a ribbed edge and adapted a plain hat pattern to also depict an Owl. The 'Owls' eyes are made using wooden buttons.
The wool is a soft blend of wool and acrylic so is hard wearing but not too thick. The hat is a snug fit and the wrist warmers can be worn with the ribbed section fully open or rolled up as seen in the photos.
This set can be for either a child or adult. The hat is approx 23cms (46cms circumference) at its widest rib. The wrist warmers are for an older child/teenager or adult.
Please note there are small buttons on these items and although securely sewn in they may not be suitable for a very small child.
