My work is inspired by the wood that I find washed up on our Dorset coastline and from living and holidays along the Southwest coast of England. I try to use the wood without cutting or changing it as much as I can as it tells it's own story through the wear and marks it has obtained from it's travels. Anything I find from small pieces of metal found in the street to larger driftwood will be stored away for future creations. Finding the right pieces that work together is one of the most time consuming parts of the process.
