Full description
Hand dyed/painted 4-ply/fingering/sock weight yarn in a blend of 75% Alpaca harvested only from British flocks, plus 25% British Wool. This yarn is very soft to the touch and takes dye beautifully, giving wonderful glowing colours. Softly twisted, it is lighter than a standard 4-ply at 450m per 100g, but the knitted fabric is thicker than you might expect. Perfect for slightly heavier weight shawls and scarves, or for a luxurious pair of socks!
